Georgina Pazcoguin, dubbed "The Rogue Ballerina," joined New York City Ballet in 2002, making history as the company’s first Asian American female soloist in 2013. She co-founded Final Bow for Yellowface, advocating for inclusive representation in the arts. Named a NEXT 50 leader by the Kennedy Center in 2022, Pazcoguin extends her influence on Broadway, TV, and film, with credits including Fosse/Verdon (2019) and the award-winning film N.Y. Export: Opus Jazz. She showcased versatility in roles like “Anita” in West Side Story Suite and in Broadway revivals of Cats and On the Town. Mentored by Broadway icons Chita Rivera, Donna McKechnie, and Carmen de Lavallade, she co-produced Broadway's groundbreaking and Tony®-nominated Here Lies Love in 2023. Her book Swan Dive: The Making of a Rogue Ballerina (2021) continues to sell worldwide. Living in NYC, spending time with her will shatter stereotypes of uptight ballerinas.
