Emanuelle Sippy

Emanuelle Sippy is a recent high school graduate from Lexington, KY. At Future Coalition, she supports youth-led organizations internationally and across issue areas through initiatives such as their Incubator. As co-director of the Kentucky Student Voice Team, she coordinates an intergenerational team, engaging students, as partners, in improving schools. She’s often described this work as “moving from protest to policy making,” including when Emanuelle appeared on MSNBC, discussing the Team’s Coping with COVID-19 Study, which garnered almost 13,000 responses from all but one Kentucky county. She’s shared policy recommendations with audiences from the Aspen Institute to the Kentucky Board of EducationEmanuelle co-authored the Move School Forward Guiding Principles and edits a feminist art & literary magazine. She will be matriculating to Princeton University this fall.
