Life in the IT Department

Department Breakdown

The IT department consists of four primary teams: Operations, Enterprise Systems, Data and Analytics and Software Development.

  • The Operations team provides the physical and logical network that all of our systems rely on and houses the IT Service Desk, which supports our users directly.
  • The Enterprise Systems team works closely with system users, holding user group meetings, overseeing upgrades and enhancements, and helping to add new systems to the fleet.
  • The Data and Analytics team supports a culture of data driven decision-making and analysis of enterprise data through the Kennedy Center data warehouse and reporting catalogues.
  • The Software Development team creates and maintains custom software solutions and integrations to extend or fill gaps between enterprise systems.
