Life in Operations
The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is a Federal facility and a living memorial to President Kennedy. As such, the Federal Government funds the maintenance and upkeep of the Kennedy Center. Approximately 50 Federal employees report to the Vice President of Facilities to accomplish the work associated with the operation of the facility. The Facilities Management Organization (FMO) is comprised of the following divisions: Facilities Operations & Maintenance Services, Security & Life Safety, Project Management Office (PMO), and Auxiliary Services.
