America the Beautiful: Moonshot Celebrates America's Birthday!

Happy Birthday to U.S.! Join in the party as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. We’ll explore different art forms from across the US, focusing on one region at a time.

This month’s region is the Northeast! This region includes Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Learn to dance the Lindy Hop, draw a state flower, create a print of a landmark, and get silly with a state story.

Fantastic Florals

Learn how to draw state flowers and create a beautiful botanical state outline.

State Story Challenge

Choose a location, type of weather, an outrageous law, state animal, and weird attraction! Make up a silly story using the cards you chose.

State Park Stitches

Celebrate our state parks! Outline the photo with needle and thread or get creative with a design.

Wish You Were Here?

Ever wanted to visit another state? Use your imagination to create a print of a state landmark.

Want to settle in and make something?

Many of our projects take 60-90 minutes to complete. These projects are self-guided and self-paced, allowing you to explore a longer artmaking process.

Moonshot Studio staff is available to introduce the projects and to lend a hand when needed.
