It’s immersive! It’s interactive! It’s irresistible! Try to catch the killer at this hilarious whodunit where the clues change at every performance, and you never see the same show twice. Audiences ages 9 to 90 all over the world love it! 

Set in present-day Georgetown, Shear Madness engages locals and visitors alike as armchair detectives to help solve the scissor-stabbing murder of a famed concert pianist who lives above the Shear Madness unisex hairstyling salon. The show combines up-to-the-minute improvisational humor and a mixture of audience sleuthing to deliver a unique performance each night.

Shear Madness is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest running play in the history of the USA. Voted “Best Comedy of the Year” seven times by the Boston Globe and recipient of the title “Best Play of the Year” by both the Chicago Sun-Times and the Philadelphia EnquirerShear Madness has also received the Raven Award from the Mystery Writers of America and has been inducted into the Comedy Hall of Fame, the first play ever to receive that accolade.

The flagship Boston company has given birth to 74 productions in the U.S. and Shear Madness has been translated into 28 foreign languages, in 36 foreign countries, playing worldwide in a host of cities including Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Madrid, Paris, Rejkavik, Rome, Tel Aviv, Melbourne, Johannesburg, Seoul, and Shanghai. Over 14.5 million people worldwide have joined in the fun.
