Dana Tai Soon Burgess Dance Company premieres Seeds of Toil: Three Stories of Asian American Resistance and Resilience, a modern dance triptych. The 50-minute dance focuses on the confluence of three agricultural histories of Asian Americans, featuring live music by collaborative pianist Dana Scott.
Online advance reservations for a given performance date will open on a rolling basis, opening every Wednesday two weeks out from the date.

Dana Tai Soon Burgess Dance Company premieres Seeds of Toil: Three Stories of Asian American Resistance and Resilience, a modern dance triptych. The 50-minute dance focuses on the confluence of three agricultural histories of Asian Americans: Korean American plantation workers in Hawaii at the turn of the last century, the importance of the collaboration of Filipino and Latinx organizers and farmworkers in California in the 1960s, and the impact of WWII internment on the Japanese agricultural communities of California in the 1940s. Live music by collaborative pianist Dana Scott.

Please Note: There is a 2-ticket limit per patron for this show. This is a reservation and not a ticket. Patrons who make advanced reservations can pick up their tickets at the Hall of States Box Office on the day of the performance at 4:30 PM. Patrons need to present either a printed email confirmation or show the email confirmation on their smart device. Tickets that have not been claimed by 15 minutes prior to the start of the performance will be released and distributed to a stand-by line.
This is a first come-first serve event; a reservation confirmation does not guarantee you a ticket. Please arrive early to exchange your email confirmation at the Hall of States Box Office for a ticket to be seated in the Family Theater.
