Rapper and producer Leikeli47 joins #KenCenHipHop to present her #LifeIn5.
With inventive albums like Wash & Set and Acrylic, Leikeli47 has created sonic sanctuaries uplifting Black women in all of their diversity and splendor. Coupling genre fluidity with infectious lyricism and imaginative storytelling, Leikeli has been celebrated by Vibe, Pitchfork, NPR, AFROPUNK, Paper Magazine and Forbes. Her career to date has been marked by a meteoric rise featuring placements on Jay-Z’s inaugural Tidal playlist and Issa Rae’s critically acclaimed HBO series Insecure. She has performed at Pharrell’s Something in the Water Festival, AFROPUNK, Coachella, and BLACK GIRLS ROCK!'s inaugural BGRFEST!
