Our Dance season highlights the bold work of American choreographers and our Theater season honors the legacy and vibrancy of American musical theater.

In 2026, the Millennium Stage will proudly present artists, companies, filmmakers, and writers from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories. With free performances throughout the year and a nationwide touring series, we’ll shine a light on hometown talent and community stages—bringing people together through the power of performance and storytelling.

Steven and William Ladd’s
National Scrollathon® Exhibition
Contributions from more than 250,000 people from across the country will come together in a remarkable display of creativity and unity through the National Scrollathon®. Led by artists Steven and William Ladd, this monumental visual installation features hand-crafted scrolls, large-scale textile works, and photographic portraits created in partnership with museums and community centers in all 50 states, five territories, D.C., and Native Community Regional Centers. A companion artwork, formed from words submitted by the public, will reflect the shared pride and values that unite us. This celebration of Many Voices, One Nation will be on view from May 29–June 29, 2026.
